Organizers postponed a biathlon race because of bad weather

The race, which was to be held on Wednesday, February 14, was cancelled due to strong winds. International biathlon Union reported that the wind gusts reach the speed of 15 m/s, and under these conditions, the race was decided not to pursue.

Competition postponed to February 15 — both individual races, male and female, will take place in one day. Women will start at 11:15 Moscow time, and men at 14:30.

In the women’s race Russia will be represented by two women, Uliana Kaisheva and Tatiana Akimova. Both athletes claimed medals in the sport .
