Women’s ski slalom at the Olympics postponed to 16 February because of the weather

PYEONGCHANG /South Korea/, 14 Feb. /TASS./ The final competition of the Alpine skiing discipline slalom women at the Olympic games in Pyeongchang rescheduled for Friday (February 16) due to adverse weather conditions. About TASS reported in the organizing Committee of the Games.

The first attempt in women was supposed to start at 04:15 GMT. Later the information appeared that the start of the competition will be given a half hour later, the decision was made to delay the start of the competition for half an hour.
In the slalom will be Russian Ekaterina Tkachenko.

Due to adverse weather conditions at the Olympics in Pyeongchang repeatedly postponed the time of the start of competitions in Alpine skiing and snowboarding . Earlier in the Games because of the strong wind was postponed competitions skiers in the giant slalom discipline, which was to take place on Monday and Sunday starts in the downhill in men.
